LOOK, WHAT HAPPENS WHEN RETRO AND NEW ROMANTIC WEDDING STYLES COLLIDED
This was a fab project from the start, the location was stunning, and I couldn’t wait to get started.
I worked with a fellow floral designer Liz from @lizzypippin on this Style shoot.
We have worked on many other floral projects before; we were looking forward to this floral challenge and to be working with like-minded creative people, to produce a gorgeous vintage-styled shoot, with a retro twist, just look what happens…
THE DESIGN BRIEF -
The colour palette feminine drama with blush pink, soft grey, pale cream, with pops of deep dark raspberry and black to add that slight feeling of theatre.
The décor, a vintage feel, with antique and reclaimed props, with a slightly alternative unique twist, again adding drama, still keeping a soft feminine feel with layered soft fabrics.
The dress designed by a local designer, the delicate lace vintage top, with a dramatic full layered skirt and black overlay.
The wedding breakfast - Low long tablescapes - Helleborus ‘ Winterbells’, Sedum spectabile, Rosa ‘Jillian’, Cosmos ‘Black beauty’. Foliage - Eucalyptus cinerea, Hedera helix
